APTET Exam Hiring Process:
1. APTET Exam:
- APTET is the initial step where candidates need to pass the relevant paper (Paper-1A/B for Classes I-V or Paper-2A/B for Classes VI-VIII) based on their desired teaching level and specialization (regular or special education).
2. Teacher Recruitment Test (TRT):
- After qualifying in APTET, candidates may be required to participate in a separate Teacher Recruitment Test (TRT) conducted by the state government.
- TET scores carry a 20% weightage in the Teacher Recruitment process of the State Government. The remaining 80% weightage is given to the Written Test in TRT, based on which selection lists are prepared.
- It is important to note that qualifying in APTET does not guarantee recruitment or employment. It serves as one of the eligibility criteria for teacher appointment.
