A. Nationality/Citizenship |
Candidates must be either:
- An Indian citizen, or
- A subject of Nepal, or
- A subject of Bhutan, or
- A person with a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India (for categories 2 and 3). Such candidates can take the exam but will only be appointed after receiving the eligibility certificate.

Candidates should be between 20-25 years old, born between 02.08.1998 and 01.08.2003. |

C. Essential Educational Qualifications |
- Educational Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or equivalent.
- For Sub Inspector in Delhi Police (Male): Valid LMV Driving License required on the date of Physical Endurance and Measurement Tests (PE&MT). Candidates without this license can only apply for Sub Inspector in CAPFs.

Physical Endurance Test (PET):
- Male Candidates:
- 100m race in 16 seconds
- 1.6 km race in 6.5 minutes
- Long Jump: 3.65m in 3 chances
- High Jump: 1.2m in 3 chances
- Shot Put (16 lbs): 4.5m in 3 chances
- Female Candidates:
- 100m race in 18 seconds
- 800m race in 4 minutes
- Long Jump: 2.7m in 3 chances
- High Jump: 0.9m in 3 chances

E. Medical Standards |
- Eyesight: Near vision N6 (better eye) and N9 (worse eye), distant vision 6/6 (better eye) and 6/9 (worse eye) without correction.
- Tattoo: Allowed under specific conditions:
- Content: Religious symbols, figures, and names as per Indian Army standards.
- Location: Inner aspect of left forearm or dorsum of the hands.
- Size: Less than 1/4 of the body part (elbow or hand).
